Lost Tapes is built to recreate the way real tape delays behave in the moment. Instead of a perfect digital repeat, each echo softens slightly and carries a bit of movement, the kind you get from mechanical systems that are never perfectly stable. Small fluctuations in speed create gentle shifts in pitch, adding subtle unpredictability that makes the repeats feel alive rather than programmed.
You shape the sound with Mix, Repeat, and Time controls, and the pedal includes four modes that each highlight a different aspect of tape style delay.
Forward
A warm, washed out delay with no modulation. Smooth and steady.
Flutter 1
Forward with a touch of random pitch variation that adds movement and a sense of age.
Flutter 2
A deeper, more animated version of Flutter 1 with stronger tape style wobble.
Rewind
A reverse delay mode that creates hazy backward swells and atmospheric textures.
The pedal sits naturally in a mix. At low settings it adds a soft halo around your dry signal. At higher settings it becomes wide and atmospheric without taking over your tone. The repeats darken in a musical way that keeps everything easy to place in a guitar rig or recording session.
Lost Tapes is quiet, consistent, and works well with dirt pedals. You can use it for subtle ambience, rhythmic lines, or washed out textures that hint at nostalgia without drifting into novelty.
Every unit is tested in our studio before it ships. While the modulation carries natural variation, the pedal itself behaves the same way every time you step on it and holds up to the demands of live and studio work.

Processing Time
Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days. If there is ever a delay we will let you know right away.
Shipping Methods and Cost
Standard shipping is calculated at checkout. Expedited options are available if you want your pedal sooner.
You will receive tracking as soon as your order heads out.
International Orders
We are not currently shipping internationally.
Delivery Times
Shipping times vary depending on the carrier and your location. Once the package leaves our hands we cannot control carrier delays, but we are always here to help if something goes wrong.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged or goes missing, contact us right away. We will work with you to make it right.

Return Window
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
Condition of Returns
Items must be in like new condition with all original packaging. We cannot accept returns that show heavy wear or modification.

Return Shipping
If the pedal arrives defective or we made an error, we will cover the return shipping.
If you simply changed your mind, return shipping is your responsibility.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for the funds to appear.
